BMW 5 Series Sedan : BMW Service

BMW Service.

You have to plan many things in life but fortunately service appointments are no longer one of them – not if you drive a BMW 5 Series Sedan. Thanks to the innovative maintenance system CBS (Condition Based Service), the BMW 5 Series Sedan always knows when its next service is due.

More

CBS permanently monitors important fluid levels and the degree of wear and tear on individual components. The system then informs you via the InfoDisplay in the cockpit when you next service appointment is due. You can also call up the current service status at any time on the the BMW 5 Series Sedan’s ControlDisplay.

And in the BMW 5 Series Sedan, it doesn’t end there. As soon as the CBS sensors determine a service requirement, e.g. an engine oli change or new brake pads, BMW TeleServices transfers all relevant data directly to your BMW Service Partner who then contacts you to arrange an appointment. If required, they can also order any necessary parts so that they are there in time for your appointment. When you arrive for your appointment, your BMW Service Partner is completely up to date on all of your service needs and the necessary parts are already in stock. This allows more time to be spent on any specific requirements you may have and it also helps to keep the cost and duration of your service appointment to a minimum.
