With the rear view camera you can always see any objects that may be behind you, and thanks to the Top View camera you can also monitor the side view, making it easy to check the distance to the curb when parking.

The BMW X5 is projected onto the Control Display allowing the Park Distance Control (PDC) to indicate the distance between the vehicle and the nearest obstacle acoustically as well as visually on the Control Display. When travelling at speeds of under 20 km/h the rear view camera provides excellent assistance when reverse parking.

Interactive trace lines in the picture inform the driver straight away whether or not the parking space is big enough. Images can be enlarged using the zoom function to make activities such as attaching a trailer quick and simple. The rear view camera is activated automatically when the reverse gear is selected.
