Whichever of the two engines you opt for, the result is maximum driving pleasure combined with outstanding efficiency. The xDrive50i with V8 engine impresses with its power and sophistication while the xDrive35i with straight six-cylinder engine lets its efficiency speak for itself.

The top-of-the-range V8 engine with two parallel turbochargers delivers maximum torque of 600 Nm that remains constant over a wide rev range, from 1,750 to 4,500 rpm. The engine produces 300 kW (407 hp) to achieve impressive acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds. And thanks to High Precision Injection (HPI), maximum efficiency is extracted due to precisely-measured doses of fuel being injected into the combustion chamber.

The straight six-cylinder petrol engine combines a Twin Scroll turbocharger with Valvetronic and direct petrol injection. This intelligent innovation package notably reduces CO2 emissions while at the same time significantly improving performance: 225 kW (306 hp), maximum torque of 400 Nm and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds.
