The 3-litre straight six-cylinder petrol engine with High Precision Injection and Twin Turbo technology combines the typical elasticity of a BMW six-cylinder petrol engine with equally impressive amounts of torque. With 400 Nm available from just 1,300 rpm upwards and a power output of 225 kW (306 hp), this engine is one of the most powerful in its class. And with a fuel consumption of just 12.1 l/100 km (EU composite figure), it’s also extremely efficient.
